Aurora G. Perez, age 82, passed away on February 13, 2018.
Aurora was born on August 24, 1935 to Simon and Inocencia Gonzalez. She graduated in 1954 from Roy Miller School in Corpus Christi, Texas. Aurora was a retired Hairstylist in the city of Corpus Christi, Texas for 28 years. She enjoyed shopping, visiting family, friends and loved collecting turtles as a hobby. She will always be remembered for her laughter and memories of family and days gone by. Aurora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. Aurora is preceded in death by her husband, and two sons, Robert and Simon.
Aurora is survived by her children, Jimmy Donna, Mary Lancaster, Lydia Nicholl, Gilbert Perez III; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
