Angie Marie Garcia-Ellison, age 42, went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2017.
She was born on December 5, 1974 to Mr. & Mrs. Roberto Garcia Sr. She graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1993. Angie was employed by Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. She enjoyed the time she spent with her daughter in her involvement in basketball. She will forever be remembered for her love, laughter and her devotion to her family. Angie was a loving mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt and great aunt. Angie is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Angie is survived by her daughter Candice Sherie Ellison, step-son Scottie Ellison, parents Roberto & Diana Garcia, one sister Lorana Ann Hopkins, two brothers Roberto Garcia Jr. (Jackie) and Jose Garcia all of Corpus Christi, Texas, 3 nephews, 3 nieces and 1 great niece.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
